Lisa has been using food to show her love since she was barely tall enough to reach the stove. Always a fan of deep connection and conversation, Lisa loves the space that gathering for a meal provides - time to pause, relax and enjoy the moment with your people or yourself. She feels blessed to have the skill of being able to throw together a meal on the fly and was reminded of how happy she is cooking while volunteering in the kitchen at Rosehaven, a day shelter for women in NW Portland.

While living in NYC, Lisa worked as a private chef and staff chef for the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Since returning to her chosen home of Portland, Lisa has been focussing on pop-ups and dinner parties and is grateful to be honing her skills under the tutelage of Peter Cho at Han Oak.

She will be leading the kitchen at The Hazel Hall / Healing Through Food panel.
